Cumulative series compared
Every panel of the cumulative index on one chart: the same step lines the
committed PNGs draw, from the same numbers. Pick series on the left; the
defaults index each line to its value on the reference date and use a log
axis, so equal slopes are equal growth rates whatever the units.

(† series)
Lines are read from each folder's cumulative-<slug>.json,
written by the folder's figure.py beside its PNG and compared in
CI; counts and events rise from zero, remaining
falls toward zero, and a staircase is a standing record's own value
(the tooltip says which direction is better). With up = progress , a
series whose progress runs downward — problems still open, seconds to a
target, an upper bound — is drawn as its reciprocal, the exact mirror on a
log axis, and marked ⇅ in the list; as recorded shows the native
value. A series with no value on the reference date is indexed to its first
value instead and listed under the chart. A series marked † has entries its
panel leaves out as unconfirmed (a pending prize submission); include
tentative entries redraws it with them, dashed. Which entries count as
confirmed is each folder's decision, stated on its page, and a contested or
partial problem-list row carries no date, so no toggle can place it on the
axis.
